Legacy of Dr. Russell G. Chambers, DDS

Dr. Russell G. Chambers DDS has been serving Alcoa, Louisville, Maryville and the surrounding areas for over 30 years. He started with a one chair office off of Alcoa Highway. As word grew of his service and quality dental work, Dr. Chambers outgrew his location.
From there Dr. Chambers found a convenient and localized location off of Kings Court in Alcoa overlooking a beautiful country creek, Pistol Creek. He purchased the land and began construction of a four chair dental practice designed for warmth and openness. He had spent a few years in a windowless practice which he couldn’t stand. In the new practice he put in “as many windows as possible”.
For the past 30 years Dr. Chambers has been practicing dentistry and developing great relationships with the community. His staff and patients are like family to him and he wanted to make sure that both were cared for as he ventures off to new adventures.
Dr. Chambers started his search for a successor a few years ago. After not finding the right match he paused the search and continued practicing.
Dr. Chambers resumed his search the beginning of 2017 and was pleased to meet Dr. Nathan La Monica. After coming from similar windowless circumstances, Dr. La Monica was happy to find a practice with both windows and a commitment to practice quality, conservative dentistry.
With Dr. La Monica in place, Dr. Chambers can now turn his attention to the skies and the road. You may still see him in the office on occasion either filling in for Dr. La Monica or as a patient. You may also see Dr. Chambers as he passes you on the road on his motorcycle or as he flies overhead in the plane he is planning to build.
Either way, Dr. Chambers is comfortable seeing you out and about because he knows he left your family's dental care in good hands.
